Don’t let the baby face fool you, 16-year-old rapper/singer/songwriter Aaron Cole is breaking hearts with his pen game. His song “Disappointed” from his free If I Can Be Honest EP calls a soon-to-be ex on her cheating ways.

Cole has already mastered the art of venting without getting disrespectful. On a standout line, he crushes her Woman Crush Wednesday dreams, singing, “You wonder why you ain’t on my IG on Wednesday.”

When Cole really gets mad, he admits his regret, rapping: “I should be focusing / Spending my time with God / He loves me unconditional / You love me sometimes.”

It’s clear why this Bristol, Virginia-based artist was selected as one of Rapzilla’s Freshmen 2016 artists and was signed by TobyMac. He’s got skills.
